Washington Post executive editor Marcus Brauchli has been a marked man at least since March, when his boss, publisher Katharine Weymouth, tried and failed to hire someone from The New York Times to succeed him. Now, Weymouth is once again said to be interviewing candidates, with the goal of replacing Brauchli after the election.
