The United Arab Emirates has only about eight  million people, a tiny fraction of the United States.  Yet when it comes to business and jobs, it has outperformed much of the world in the past few years. Hence, the UAE and its emirate Dubai may offer economic lessons to the U.S. and others at a time when the global economy is under stress, Steve Forbes said in response to a question at a press conference in Dubai to kick off the 2012 Forbes Global CEO Conference today.
