Your analysis of the large-scale tax avoidance undertaken by some operating in Britain (UK urged to curb global firms' profit moves, 17 October) was a helpful reminder that we are not all "in it together". However, the pain felt by the loss of this revenue to the UK exchequer is dwarfed by the global scale of tax dodging.
