Hundreds of U.S. retailers balk at $7.2 billion card-fee pact

NEW YORK (Reuters) - Nearly 1,200 retailers said on Thursday they will urge a federal judge to reject a proposed $7.2 billion settlement between merchants and Visa Inc and Mastercard Inc over credit card fees, calling it an "unacceptable" proposal that would strip away stores' legal rights.
