History Predicts What Rutgers Will Pay To Leave The Big East

On the same day it announced it was leaving the Big East Conference for the Big Ten Conference, Rutgers University filed a lawsuit against the Big East.  Amongst other things, Rutgers' lawsuit requests that the court to find that the Big East's 27 month notice for withdrawal provision does not apply to its move to the Big Ten.  Additionally, Rutgers seeks to leave the conference without paying a withdrawal fee.  Rutgers is not the first university to utilize a lawsuit as an attempt to a...
