Sunny skies and warm temperatures to return for the end of the holiday weekend

Temperatures dropped significantly over the weekend -- including snow in some areas of New England -- but you will be able to put your parkas back in the closet soon. Sunshine and balmy temperatures will return Monday just in time for Memorial Day, according to the National Weather Service of Taunton. While it remained chilly in Boston today, showers decreased throughout the day. Temperatures that were in the low 50s during the day are expected to drop to the low 40s overnight.
