Attorneys representing American Airlines and US Airways in their anti-trust case with the Department of Justice said they were in talks with the DOJ regarding the scheduling of a trial date in the matter, stating that they expected the case to "certainly" be heard "before the end of the year." The lawyers cautioned that ultimately it was up to the Federal court in Washington, D.C., to set a trial date, but they said they "[looked] forward, with confidence, to our day in court."
