US seeks support to punish Syria for chemical weapons attack

With four American warships now in missile range of Syria, the Obama administration on Monday sought support for punishing the regime of Bashar Al Assad for what it asserted was clear evidence it gassed to death hundreds of civilians and wounded thousands more in the worst use of chemical weapons in 25 years.
