Tesla's feat of (financial) engineering

Tesla Motor's stock is still in overdrive -- and not just because of its sleek cars. To keep racing forward over the past few months, Tesla has relied on feats of financial engineering as much as automotive engineering, wooing rich investors and selling additional shares as the stock price soared.
