The Flag Remains The Same

The President of The United States has boasted, "I'm really good at killing people." How does that jibe with the notion that America is the land of the free and home of the brave? Is it just too damned scary to admit to ourselves that the government, supposedly of, by, and for the people, is completely out of our control?
