Tonga in South Pacific lashed by powerful cyclone

NUKU'ALOFA, Tonga (AP) -- The South Pacific nation of Tonga was lashed by a powerful cyclone on Saturday, causing damage but there were no immediate reports of injuries in the heavily populated northern islands.
