Man fatally shot on Callender Street in Dorchester

A man was fatally shot Friday evening on Callender Street in Dorchester, police said. The victim, who is believed to be in his 20s, was shot several times near 82 Callender St. at about 6:20 p.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene, Boston police said. Officials did not identify the man.
