Vt. nurse sentenced on prescription drug charges

A hospital nurse in Vermont has received a suspended sentence of one to two years on misdemeanor drug possession charges. Shawn Marks, 35, of Poultney was convicted Monday in Rutland County Superior Court. Marks, a nurse in the emergency department of Rutland Regional Medical Center, was accused of unlawfully possessing the narcotic drug Percocet.
