Substance prompts evacuation of apartment building

An 87-unit apartment building in Hudson was evacuated Sunday night while a hazardous materials team investigated a substance in one of the units, authorities said. State fire officials dispatched the hazardous materials team and a bomb squad to 11 Lake St. about 6:45 p.m., Fire Marshal Stephen D. Coan said.
