Israel Strikes Gaza Overnight and Early Morning

Israeli tanks gathered on the the border with Gaza on Saturday (August 9) as explosions could be seen over the coastal enclave. Israel launched more than 20 aerial attacks in Gaza early on Saturday and militants fired several rockets at Israel in a second day of violence since a failure to extend an Egyptian-mediated truce that halted a monthlong war earlier this week.
