Islamist militants release captive U.S. journalist Peter Theo Curtis in Syria

On Sunday, the Nusra Front, an affiliate of al Qaeda, released U.S. freelance journalist Peter Theo Curtis, handing him over to United Nations personnel at the Israel-Syria border.
