Holcim, Lafarge Submit Formal Merger Application To The European Commission

Holcim Ltd (HCMLY) and Lafarge SA (LFRGY) - two giants of the building materials domain - have formally informed the European Commission of their plans to merge. The combined entity will become the biggest cement producer in the world.
