Laredo Petroleum (LPI) Stock Higher Today as Oil Prices Rise

NEW YORK (TheStreet) --Shares of Laredo Petroleum are higher in morning trading, up 7.44% to $9.68 today with oil prices gaining Wednesday, as traders took positions ahead of U.S. inventory data and the European Central Bank's policy meeting, the Wall Street Journal reports. U.S. oil for March delivery rose 3.44%, to $48.07 a barrel at 10:36 a.m. on the New York Mercantile Exchange. Brent crude was up 3.1%, to $49.48 a barrel.
