With the national average of gas just over $2 per gallon as of Friday and drivers averaging 14,016 miles in 2012, according to the latest numbers from the Department of Transportation, consumers could potentially save thousands in annual fuel expenses compared to last year's highs.  TheStreet analyzed just how much consumers could save in gas expenses if they drive certain very fuel inefficient SUVs....
