CTA to replace O'Hare station escalator wiped out in train crash

Work will begin this spring to replace an escalator that was destroyed one year ago when a Blue Line train crashed into the CTA terminal at O'Hare International Airport, the transit agency said Tuesday, the anniversary of the accident blamed on the train's operator falling asleep.
