Railroad crude oil carloads dropped 14% in the first quarter of fiscal'15 (1QFY15) as compared to 4QFY14, reported The Wall Street Journal earlier this week. The Association of American Railroads (AAR) reported 113,089 carloads of crude oil in 1QFY15, down 17,982 carloads from 4QFY14, primarily due to the decrease in crude oil prices as demand for the commodity has lowered.
