Chinese smartphone company Xiaomi announced that it sold 34.7 million smartphones in the first half of 2015, a 33% gain. While it tried to frame the news as a positive, the truth is that it's worrisome for the company. As you can see in this chart above from Quartz, Xiaomi sales have flatlined on a sequential basis.
