NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- U.S. stocks pared earlier losses on Monday as investors hoped debt-laden Greece and its creditors take action to avoid a Greece exit from the eurozone or "Grexit." The S&P 500 fell 0.16%, the Dow Jones Industrial Average lost 0.21%, after hitting its lowest point on Monday since Feb. 3, and the Nasdaq declined 0.09%.
