Lawmakers Seek To Exempt Tribes From ACA Large Employer Mandate

Senator Steve Daines (R-MT) and Senator John Thune (R-SD) introduced a bill in the Senate this week to exempt Indian tribal governments from the scope of the Affordable Care Act’s Large Employer Mandate. Other lawmakers associated with the proposed legislation include Representatives Kristi Noem (R-SD) and Ryan Zinke (R-MT).
