Following a closure of over a month, the Athens Stock Exchange is set to reopen on Monday. However, markets will resume operations with restrictions in place. This is to avoid more money flowing out, as the reopening is likely to rekindle negative sentiment. Fear of oversold conditions is what pushed the Greek government to shut its stock market last month. Along with the stock market's closure, Greek banks were also ordered to close down with capital controls in place.
