According to a press release, Lockheed Martin Corporation (NYSE:LMT) has announced plans to cut down approximately 500 of its workforce at its Information Systems & Global Solutions (IS&GS) by the end of November this year. The decision is part of the company's long term strategy through which the company aims to increase the segment's competitiveness.
