Yemen governor dies in car bombing, ISIS claims responsibility

A close ally of Yemeni President Abd Rabbuh Mansur Hadi was killed in a car bombing Sunday that the Islamic State has reportedly claimed responsibility for. Aden Governor Jaafar Mohammed Saad and at least six others he was traveling with died in the attack, Reuters reports. Saad, a former southern Yemen army general who was targeted on his way to work, had been appointed governor in October.
