New South Wales is Australia's strongest economy, Victoria a close second

Report says Victoria has gained 'substantial ground' on NSW, and high unemployment has pushed Western Australia into sixth position New South Wales continues to be Australia's strongest-performing economy while continued high unemployment has seen Western Australia slip again into sixth position, according to the latest CommSec State of the States report released on Monday.
