Google Daydream: How To Run VR Platform On Nexus 5X, LG V20

Daydream, Google's virtual reality platform is currently compatible only with the Pixel, Pixel XL, Moto Z, Moto Z Droid and Moto Z Force Droid. The feature, which was included in the Android 7.1 Nougat OS update, allows users to play VR games, watch movies in a VR cinema and watch 360-degree videos using a compatible VR headset. Unless Google ports the feature to more devices, users of a large number of Android devices will not be able to access Daydream VR content.
