Goldman Sachs handed a promotion to one of its youngest ever partners

Goldman Sachs Goldman Sachs has just named Eric Lane as co-chairman of the firm's partnership committee. Lane coheads the investment-management division — a business that has been posting strong growth — with Tim O'Neill.
