Microsoft, Amazon push S&P, Nasdaq higher

(Reuters) - Gains in technology stocks powered by strong earnings from Microsoft, Amazon and Alphabet lifted the Nasdaq and the S&P on Friday, but losses in Chevron and Merck kept the Dow in the red.
