Adam Silver Touts Virtues of NBA's Intellectual Property In Support of 1% Gambling Integrity Fee

In his first public comments since the NBA proposed a fee for gaming operators on the total handle of all wagers on its contests the commissioner argued that the league should be compensated for the value of its intellectual property and additional expenses for protecting the integrity of the game.
