Former Senate staffer indicted; Feds seize 'N.Y. Times' reporter's phone, email records in leak probe

A federal prosecutor notified Ali Watkins on Feb. 13 that the Justice Department had obtained information on her Googleemail accounts and Verizon phone, the New York Times reported. The seized records covered years before and after Watkins joined the Times to coverfederal law enforcement.
