Researchers' Suggestion To Limit Head Shots In Football: Stand Up

Two neurotrauma researchers at Purdue University suggest that requiring offensive linemen to start every play in a standing position would reduce the amount of head-to-head contact they absorb by 40% or more. They found that offensive linemen take more hits to the head than any other position group.
