East Chicago police officer shown punching Libertarian Congressional candidate Mike Strauss placed on leave pending an investigation

Following the arrest, Strauss was charged with intimidation of a law enforcement officer, resisting a law enforcement officer, battery on a law enforcement officer and disorderly conduct, according to the statement.
