Jan. 6 Capitol attacker who bear-sprayed late Officer Brian Sicknick sentenced to 80 months

U.S. District Judge Thomas told a courtroom crowded with family members and former colleagues of the 42-year-old officer he couldn't sentence Julian Khater of Sommerset, N.J., for Sicknick's death, but called it "the elephant in the room" Friday.
