Battered 5-year-old son of NYC hammer attack victim suffering from 'temporary amnesia' but out of ICU

The young son of a Brooklyn woman killed by a hammer-wielding housemate has been moved from the ICU to a regular hospital room in what is being called a "remarkable improvement," according to an update posted on a fundraiser page for his family.
