Trump shifts to friendlier tone for Fed's Powell: 'I have no intention of firing him'

President Donald Trump on Tuesday ratcheted down his rhetoric toward Federal Reserve Chairman Jerome Powell, saying he didn't plan to try to remove the chief of the nation's central bank.
