NYPD, other city agencies crack down on trash, drug-infested 'Broadway of The Bronx': 'Going to be our ground zero'

New York authorities flooded the zone of the seedy South Bronx district dubbed the "Broadway of the Bronx" -- cleaning up streets crawling with garbage and needles and syringes, and clearing the area of drug addicts and vagrants.
