Nearly 58% of engineers want FDE roles, but 90% lack a clear upskilling path, says report

Nearly 58% of engineers want to become forward-deployed engineers, but nine in 10 lack awareness of a structured upskilling path, a Scaler report says, adding 88% of Indian enterprises expect demand for the roles to rise by 2030, while only 1% of engineers currently hold designated FDE positions.
